To Change the Batteries on the DL2700:
1. Remove the screw securing the battery door on the interior side of the lock. The battery door should lift away
2. Pull out the white battery pack and unplug the white connector to disconnect it from the lock.
3. On the top side of the battery pack, remove the 4 Phillips head screws to open the pack. You may need to remove a portion of the security tape to lift this cover away.
4. Once open, exchange the 5 AA batteries inside. Reattach the cover and reapply the 4 screws to hold the pack together.
5. Plug the battery pack back into the white connecter and place the pack back into the lock. Reattach the metal battery door to secure it into place.
Please avoid pressing any buttons on the lock keypad while the battery pack is unplugged as this can cause the lock to reset back to factory defaults, erasing any programming currently in the door. - A

- Q Will this work on a door that is 2 1/ 4 inches thick? answer nowAsked by April 18, 2022 6:00 PMonA

We have used the Trilogy lock on 3 of our buildings, in a development. easy install, programming went faster every building. They have been in use now for a few months and have had no complaints by tenants. Product appears to do what it claims . We will continue to use these through out the development

I run some lodging properties and these are perfect for what we need. I love how you can use a 3 digit code (or more if you want) and not have to push any other buttons… when looking into locks be sure to find out not only how many numbers are needed for a code, but also how many other buttons you have to push to have it unlock. Other locks make you use 4-6 digit codes and have to push arrows, stars, hash tags etc. which turns out to be a pain in the *** if you are using it frequently. Batteries last years & code updating is the easiest in the industry. Duronodic is a nice, comfortable color that makes the Trilogy T2 look less industrial… but how about just calling it oil rubbed bronze like everyone else 🙂
Only con is the installation and there are a few less than ideals. The lock has a unique hole drilling template so is not easy to install. Also it is a royal pain to switch the handle if needed out of the box, as well as not easy to get the width right to match the door. I can install most residential locks myself just fine (electronic & not), however I have ended up hiring a locksmith to install the Trilogy T2 just so that it is done right and quickly.

After looking extensively for an upgrade to our previous 10 year old keylock, we ended up purchasing the same (updated) lock and are once again very pleased with it’s quality and usability. Firstly, it works! It’s reliable, easy to install, and easy to use. I recommend this lock to anyone looking for a secure, reliable keyless lock.

I installed those on metal doors, so I required help from a professional to do it correctly. The configuration is easily explained in the booklet. It’s a great lock for different codes, users, etc. Recommended.

We upgraded our basic Lowe’s residential level lock to this lock. We are extremely happy with this purchase. The different features are really helpful. Installation was breeze and while more than we anticipated easier than expected after our first glance. The original set up programming gave us a little trouble, but we feel that it was user error.
